Welcome to the free introduction to my coaching series YOU Working With YOU. Included in this introduction are the following topics:  

CONFIDENCE

Q.         What is it in your life that you are really, really, really good at having done only once?

A.         Probably nothing.

So … how do you become confident at those things you want to be confident at? Read about them, throw yourself into them, take every opportunity to improve by doing, and know that with repetition you will improve, which will contribute to higher confidence.

Nobody is confident 24/7 and nobody is confident at everything they do. You might look like it, but what you cannot see are the nerves driving them forward when others would be retreating. That is what makes confident people more confident, they do not let fear and nerves deter them.

4 P’s:

Q.         What are the 4 P’s, and why should I care?

A.         Plan, Prepare, Practice and PERFORM! And because success vs failure results from applying them.

Think about it for a moment, whether you are thinking of a vacation, a presentation, and extension to your house, or a public speaking event, your success will be determined by how well you applied the 4 P’s.

What is it in your life that you are really good at that you did only once? Is anyone a great golfer after only one lesson? Or does a public speaker earn ever greater fees without applying himself?

Anyone who is professional at anything applies these simple P’s, so … what about you?

How easy is it to give advice to others?

Have you applied those same pearls of wisdom you dispense so readily on yourself?

Self-coaching will provide you with discipline, competence and as a result you will grow in your level of confidence.

Nothing comes easily in life, at least for most of us, but those who get on well and enjoy a broader reward, earn it in part by self-coaching. They know how and when to push themselves.
